AbstractHale Urban District was formed by order of Chester County Council March 31st 1900; it was in the Altrincham Division of the County, Petty Sessional Division and County Court District, Bucklow Hundred and Union. A meeting of the Hale Vestry Minute Book noted that a special meeting of the vestry was held on 3rd May 1894 .The first meeting of the Hale Urban District Council was held in the Officer's Drill Hall, Ashley Road, Hale on Monday April 9th 1900
